WOW – was the contest successful or what!? We had 12 finalists who were all trying to win a FREE wedding videography package for their special day! I thought couples would get around 100 – maybe 200 votes if they were lucky! Boy – was I ever wrong! Our winning couple received over 900 votes on their photo to take home the big prize: A wedding videography package worth over $1600! Yes – 900 votes! I am not sure how they rallied so many people to vote – but good for them! What a fun contest! I wish i could give away a free wedding video every month, but obviously that is just not possible! Wedding at the Winery!

Was Saturday a great day or what!? I videotaped a wedding at Carlos Creek Winery in Alexandria and even though it was the middle of winter, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day for outside pictures! I worked with a fun photographer as well (Alison Lea) - which made the day fly by! The groom was actually the winemaker at the winery and they had their first glance in the wine cellar! Katie (the bride) had a beautiful fur shawl to keep her warm for some outside pictures and they were such an amazing couple to work with! You can tell fate brought these two together and great things are in store for them! Here’s a little sneak peak into some still shots taken from their video:

Wow! What a beautiful couple – inside and out! I had the privilege of capturing Jenna and TJ’s wedding day up in Battle Lake! It was a cold winter day, but that didn’t stop the wedding party from bundling up a bit to take some fun photos outside! Check out a slideshow of some still taken from their video…
